I'm a seasoned Witch and Wiccan, but I still like to read books on the subject. So I thought I'd get this series for my kindle. The price wasn't bad, but I think I could have found a better use for 7 bucks.I found this book to be totally ridiculous. The author puts forth a lot of erroneous statements, even actually referring to Harry Potter, which we all know is FICTION.And oh my gosh - all over the book she says "if you don't do this, or don't that, use this thing, or don't use this thing, your spells will not work or they will go horribly wrong."The author also doesn't seem to know the difference between the religion called Wicca and the craft, the art of doing magic, which is called Witchcraft.All the reliance on 'must have' items, such as altar cloths, a 'balanced' number of candles on the altar, even clothing -- I came away from this series of 'books' with laughter. Certain clothing is absolutely required according to this author -- apparently she never heard of 'skyclad.'I like what another reviewer said - that this book comes away looking like a high school term paper. But in actuality, it sounds more like a 13 year old who copied and pasted a bunch of stuff off the internet.In regards to all the 'must have' equipment -- did witches of 500 years ago have all that stuff? NO.The power of a witch is in herself. It's nice to have colored candles and a nice altar cloth - incense and all that stuff - but Deity doesn't care about that, and won't be 'offended' if you don't have a certain type of darned candle.You can certainly use all those tools if you like, it helps you consecrate on the task at hand, but as a witch's power grows, you find you don't need all that stuff.
This book is very long, but that's not a bad thing. It is a very good guide on Witchcraft and how to cast spells. Very crazy as I never knew something like this was possible. The guide contains "Recipes" for applying witchcraft with directions on what to do. Interesting book and a lot of content for your money.I was asked to leave an honest review on this book.
Verrryyy informative i loved that it contained all the books in this series. I disliked how it repeated information but then again makes sense since its not just one book outs multiple so it's needed. Just be aware. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know the basics
Very informative book on the Wicca religion. There is a a lot of misconceptions out there and this book sets it straight with a lot insight into the details surrounding Wicca. Great for people just starting to look into Wicca or those who have a lot of experience. Good read.
I really enjoyed this book, a great beginning for people wanting to know more about witchcraft...I learned a ton of stuff i did not know and found it very cool to learn new things about it as i love all the movies that come out with witches and now have a better idea how it really is.

By just having the one book, it makes it very easy with your beginners journey into the realm of Witchcraft. This all-in-one book has many fundamental steps for the first time Wiccan. Including an introduction to the history of Wicca, creating a book of Shadows, learning spells to achieve many different things, and herbal magic. So if you are feeling like you would like to try a bit of magic, and you need guidance for a place to start. You will need to get this book to help you.
Very Informative. Wish they could have been seperate, though. Thank you for the knowledge. It was very thorough and specific.
