I found this book to be helpful to give me ideas in the treatment of depression. After using the "tried and true" methods sometimes nothing works. This book gave me ideas outside of the box and gave tools to use these ideas. I recommend this for any clinician that needs a few more tools for their bag of tricks.
Love this book, but the used copy I purchased that was reportedly in "like new" condition smells TERRIBLY of cigarette smoke. I'm not super sensitive to smoke smells but this is making me queasy.
I like the worksheets. Very helpful. Good starting point. I use it for my private practice. Good skeleton for conversations and other worksheets.
