Got it today on the mail, not wort it, I will check the recipes to consider my review.But God my eyes hurt when I tried to check it...it’s not appealing at all , no colors no pictures, no distribution of the recipes. I quickly browse and the nutritional value for ingredients or recipe it’s not there.The most attractive thing was the picture cover for sure and that’s it.I got the feeling I got a magazine instead of a book.Disappointed, I think the reviews were given because it was a free book for them. Considering it was just published as of December 2018.
This book is very poorly written. In the first 14 pages the author gives an explanation of the various types of diabetes and some do's and don'ts. Then some information about the Instant Pot which is really useless since it is not specific to a particular model. Finally on page 22 she starts the recipes. The first one is for Spicy Tofu Scramble that takes by her calculations almost 30 minutes to make. The next breakfast meal calls for "1 pound of baked beans" , 1 pound of chopped lean meats, and 1 cup of scrambled eggs" this is supposed to make 2 servings. What kind of baked beans??? Most canned baked beans are loaded with sugar and she has warned us earlier in the book not to eat "tinned" beans. A majority of the recipes rely on tofu or seitan (which I had to look up). Or diced duck breast. Yes, each recipe sticks to 5 ingredients but many are not things I could easily find at my neighborhood grocery store. No thank you! This book was a total waste of money! This appears to be a self-published book which should have been my first clue!

This book has discussed everything and learned how people who are in this situation manage to adapt the big lifestyle changes in their lives. Worth reading book.
